On the 9th of December my school held our second annual Fun Day, at the Fun Day there are rides, a petting zoo, face painting, hair colouring , gift pags, plaster craft just to name a few. It goes for 3 1/2 hours and everyone goes crazy. Here are some photos:
There is only 14 days until Christmas and two weeks isn’t that long. I’m getting really excited and so are all my friends. We’ve decorated the house with a Christmas tree and everything else. And here’s a Christmas Joke my friend told me:
As you know I go to the Woolongong Academically Gifted class regularly every Thursday. Well last Thursday (3-12-09) was the last AG of 2009 and to celebrate there were many exciting things we did. First was the actual presentation, parents and friends of AG participants were there and we all got certificates and year books followed by morning tea. After all the adults had left we went on a bus to a pizza restaurant where we all enjoyed pizza and ice-cream then we went to the botanical gardens and played around there. At the end we all said ‘good bye’ for the last time knowing it was probably the last time we would see each other.
Today I came home from school and I felt like a smoothie. Usually I have banana and mango, but there was no bananas. So I just had mango, then Mum reminded me that we had some ‘frozen yogurt’ in the freezer (we had not had ‘frozen yogurt’ in a long time). Here is the recepie for the Perfect Smoothie:
The Perfect Smoothie(serves one)
Ingredients:
Half a mango(you could use mango slices if it’s Winter)
1 cup of milk(I used ‘lite milk’)
Plain ‘frozen yogurt’(you could also use normal yogurt)
Crushed ice(if you use ice cubes just add 10 seconds to the blending time)
